This Privacy Policy explains how Zayka Nail Studio (“Zayka,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit zaykabeauty.com (the “Site”), contact us, book an appointment, or visit our studio at 2217 Union Street in San Francisco.
We collect only what we need to take care of you, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, email, call, or book an appointment, you may share:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Appointment details, such as the service, date, and time
- Anything you include in a message, such as nail preferences or questions
- Health information you choose to tell us, such as allergies or skin sensitivities, so we can serve you safely
- Job application details, such as your resume and portfolio, if you apply for a role
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site and the services that power it may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.

Online booking with Square
Online appointments are booked through Square at zaykabeauty.square.site. When you book or pay through Square, Square collects and processes your information, including any payment card details, under its own Privacy Notice. We receive the booking details we need to serve you. We never see or store your full card number.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the studio and Site, such as our booking and payment provider (Square), website hosting, form and email services. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our guests, team, or studio.
- A new owner if the business is ever sold or transferred, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
Third-party content on our Site
Some parts of our Site load content from other providers. When your browser loads them, those providers may receive your IP address and basic browser information:
- Google Fonts, which provides the typefaces on our Site
- OpenStreetMap, which provides the map tiles on our homepage and Contact page
- Cloudflare cdnjs, which delivers the map software
- Google Maps, only if you click a directions link
These providers handle that information under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here. For example, we keep appointment records while you are a guest and as required for tax and accounting, and we keep job applications for up to one year unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information, such as payment card numbers, by email or through our contact form.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Request a copy of your personal information
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it)

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may also ask whether we shared personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not.
Children
Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. Guests under 18 should book with a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on our Site.
